Why pets shouldn’t be allowed in schools

WALT- the structure of persuasive piece of writing.

——————————————————————————————————

I believe that pets can be good and bad in classrooms depending on what pet and many more, I personally believe that pets should not be allowed in school buildings.

Firstly, they could go toilet in the classroom if they were not toilet trained.

If they did it would leave a mess and smell.

Someone may step in it, and then people would laugh at them if they found out.

The pet could go toilet on someone’s computer.

Secondly, they are noisy for example they may be bored and then barking for attention.

And if they made something fall off tables, chairs and shelves.

If the pet was hurt their leg they may wimp and bark.

Thirdly, they are a massive distraction for example a kid may be working when a pet comes up and lays by or on them then the pet is going to be patted. If a pet was sleeping somewhere and it fell off everyone would laugh. And if the dog went outside possibly all the students would look out the window.

Finally, for all the reasons above that’s why i believe that pets should not be allowed in schools. These reasons toilet trained , noisy and discration pets are good at home but not ideal for schools.

Moehuri story

This is the Moehuri writing.

The story of Moehuri

Many Years ago, there lived a chief named Moehuri. He lived in a place called hawiki. It was very crowded there. He decided to sail across the sea to a place called Aotearoa/New zealand. He needed people to help him sail to Aotearoa, the catheter chiefs and other people.

When he was sailing he got a bit lost then he saw a shiver of sharks and decided to follow them. It led them to a harbour which they called Mangonui. Moehuri – fearless, strong, smart- said whoever killed the shark would be banished to taumarumaru.

Soon after arriving in Aotearoa, Moehuri went on a walk west to see if anyone else lived here.

When he got back he found people eating shark meat he asked who killed the shark they all

said TukiaTa (Moehuri’s son). Soon after Moehuri Banished his son to Taumarumaru .

Tukiata built his own little village that he now lived in. He carried on his own life as normal.
